I’ve tried everything from cheap unbranded models to high end ‘professional’ trimmers that costs hundreds of dollars.
Like most people I assumed that the highest priced ‘big brand’ products were simply the best, and if you wanted a high quality beard trimmer you had to deal with the high costs.

First Impressions
The package we ordered arrived in a couple of days so we were off to a good start already. I personally hate having to wait weeks for something I ordered online to arrive.
Upon opening the package and examining the beard trimmer I was immediately impressed. The material, build quality and ergonomics was comparable to that of £100+ shaving devices.
It reminded me of something I would see in a professional barber shop. I liked that it came with multiple hair guards suitable for different beard lengths.
We’ve all experienced the difference of a cheap or brittle product and a high quality one, whether its sunglasses, clothes or shoes… well beard trimmers are no different and this one felt and looked amazing.
Design
Budget option trimmers are usually easy to spot… or so I thought.
They typically have a very cheap feel to them as they are made mostly out of plastic materials to cut costs and their design looks rushed.

My Shaving Experience
Before this test I had a couple weeks beard growth to work with so I decided to first try the 2mm included guard for a short beard style of look.
The Trimsher required no pressure, it cut so smoothly that I didn’t have to go back and forth over the same spot from different angles like I had to in the past.
After finishing my shave in record time I wanted to see if it could really cut my beard to 0 like advertised. I took off the shaving guard and went to town.
Once again I was extremely impressed. Most other shavers don’t give you the ‘clean shave’ look but the Trimsher did. This level of precision also allows you to create sharp lines or contours around you beard as you see fit.
What’s even more impressive is that there was no hair tugging or pulling!
