First Impressions
The Air Protect Pro arrived a few days after ordering so things were already off to a good start.
Upon opening the package I was immediately impressed. The air purifier had a slick modern all white design which would look nice in any home.

After reading the manual that came with the Air Protect Pro, I discovered that it uses some of newest technical advances in 2024. At this point, I was started to get excited. “Could this purifier really be the one to solve my allergy problems?” I thought.

Now that I had done a few hours of research on the technology inside the device, it was now time to put the Air Protect Pro to a real word test.
The Real Test - How Good Is The Air Protect Pro At Improving Air Quality?
To test how effective the device was at purifying air we needed to first get a baseline reading of the air quality. So I closed all the windows in my office and used an indoor air quality monitor to get some readings such as the Volatile Organic Compounds Levels (VOC) and the levels of particulate matter (PM 2.5). VOC measures pollutants from things such as building materials and carpets while PM 2.5 measures the levels of dust & allergens.
After getting these baseline levels (which were abysmally high), I plugged in the Air Protect Pro and turned it on to the highest setting. To my surprise it was incredibly silent, even at max speed. Most other purifiers I had tested before were very loud and distributing which is a huge problem if you’re using them to get better air quality while you sleep. Â
In just 10 minutes, the Air Protect Pro had reduced the levels of harmful pollutants and allergens by 99%! I felt like it was much easier to breathe in the office and the fact that the improvement happened in such a short time was extremely impressive to me.
The second test we did was measuring how well it removed smoke from the air. For this we had to artificially raise the smoke levels in our testing lab by burning wood chips and recording the level with the indoor air quality monitor.
