I’ve always thought it would be convenient to be able to cut my own hair from home. It saves money, time and there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of admiring your own hair-taming handiwork in the mirror.

First Impressions
The package we ordered arrived in a couple of days so we were off to a good start already. I personally hate having to wait weeks for something I ordered online to arrive.
Upon opening the package and examining the Trimsher hair clippers I was immediately impressed. The material, build quality and ergonomics was comparable to that of $200+ hair shaving devices.
It reminded me of something I would see in a professional barber shop. It was completely cordless and came with multiple shaving guards for different hair lengths.

Design

The Trimsher on the other hand was nothing like that. It had a solid metal outer casing with a unique engraved design that I had never seen before.
It also felt like the perfect weight. Some other models that I had tested were too light while others felt like I had done a workout after using them due to their weight. The Trimsher was a perfect balance and I could tell that this company paid great attention to detail.

The Trimsher comes with 3 hair guards for different hair lengths which are extremely easy to attach and actually stay on securely unlike some other trimmers.

My Hair Cutting Experience
I don’t have the fullest head of hair anymore, so I tend to either go for a buzz cut or a completely bald shave type of look. It was around a month since my last trim, so my hair had some a little bit of length on it.
Usually I go for something simple like #3 on the top, #2 on the sides and #1 to shape and trim the edges of my hair. So I attached the #3 shaving guard and went to town.
The Trimsher required no pressure, it cut so smoothly that I didn’t have to go back and forth over the same spot from different angles like I had to in the past.
After around 5 minutes I was completely done. I used the #2 to shave the side and #1 guard to trim the edges like I said. Then I remembered that one of the features everybody online raved about is the ‘zero gap’ ability of this hair shaver. Barbers use this to create very sharp lines on the edges of your hair, giving you a fresher look.
So to test if this really worked, I took off the shaving guard completely and finished up my hair cut.
Once again I was extremely impressed. Most other shavers don’t give you that level of sharpness but the Trimsher did. I even used it on my beard and it worked amazingly. The precision of these hair clippers truly allows you to create sharp lines or contours around your hair or beard for a more professional look. Not only that but using the zero-gapped blade as well as the different shaving guards can help you achieve the highly desired fade on the sides and back!
What’s even more impressive is that there was no hair tugging or pulling!
If you’ve ever tried shaving your hair at home before (especially with a cheap device) you would know it’s not always the best experience. Some angles are very awkward to get and result in having to go over your hair multiple times leaving annoying razor bumps and irritation.
